Oh.... Tiffany and Elissa, thanks for sharing your sites too! *wink* Now I can bookmark those too! Feel free to share your own links people! =)
in order to use photoshop I have to buy the software don't I . I have been tryingto learn how to photoshop but I am a little slow in getting how to do it and it doesn't help that I dont own any photoshop software. but thanks for the links I have marked this as my favorite so I can always go and look back at the great links you posted
LOL Well yeah... you have to have it sweetie. =)
I know how that feels... =/
Have you looked at getting Corel Paint Shop Pro? It's just as good... when I had it, I used to use follow Photoshop tutorials with it because a lot of the tools required in Photoshop Tutorials are in Paint Shop Pro as well...
Might want to look into it if you can't afford Photoshop. It's just as good! That was my favorite program... but when I switched from a Windows to Mac, I had to go with Photoshop because there isn't a version of Paint Shop Pro for MAC. =/

This is also kinda cool if you're stuck with ideas for color:

Very cool...
www.colourlovers.com is a good place for color ideas as well.=)
Online tutorials are great-- so helpful. There are some really amazing PS books out there, too. You might have to put some money into them, but they're totally worth the money to just have around.

I remeber seeing your blog the other day and thought it was cool. Now i totally "heart" you. Thanks for the great links! I am PSP addicted so i will put them to good use!
Lauren: I don't know what I'd do without those online tutorials... Bless the hearts of those that take the time to share their talent with us, huh? =) Yeah... I might have to buy a book one of these days.

Mocha Mornings Novel Nights: Aww, thanks. Very kind of you... PSP is sooooo cool... I miss it so much. I'd go back to it in a heartbeat but oh well... =) Oh, and you're absolutely welcome!

I am in love with Photoshop!!!

If you look in my audio and video files - you will find photoshop video and audio how to files.

Ditto - congrats on on TIG/Explore!

I also fav'd this for future reference! MANY THANKS.

Oh wow! haha. Thanks for letting me know guys... When I read your comments and you mentioned I was on TIG section I was like, "WHAT!?" LOL I totally wasn't even aiming for that... not that I ever am... but it was a nice little surprise. I just hope these come in handy for some folks because I do have people contact me privately asking questions about how I learned to do what I do... I am still learning too, so maybe this will help them as well. =)

Tiffany, thanks for the other links! Awesome! =) I'm favoriting my own entry so I can come back to all these links later too! haha

Hi Bonita!

[this is good]
Very nice!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. dA is also my favorite place for tutorials. In my case, I search for tips on how to color line art (for my drawings).
i love your top banner... very pink and cute. thanks for sharing those links. i agree, Google is like my bff. hehe.
i wouldn't have the slightest clue as to how to make a banner for vox yet alone use photoshop and i have a mac! god i suck! i should sit down this weekend and take it for a spin! haha hope you've been well <33
I can't decide which I like better...PS, or PSP. I use both. Each has it's pros and cons.
Jenna: PS is much better BUT it is more complicated for sure... if you've never used a graphics editor program or whatever, it might overwhelm you. PSP is a good program to start... it has "almost" the same tools as PS but it's a lot more user friendly, in my opinion. But that's coming from someone who used PSP for 4+ years... so don't take it from me. You should download a trial and see which one you like best... =)
Hi Bonita,

I'm asking you this by PM because I don't want to sound stupid publicly...

My mother is thinking of buying Photoshop for herself, and I was wondering if it's possible to install it on multiple computers (so I could use it too... ;) Well, I thought I'd ask just in case you know.

I hope you're feeling well - get a lot of rest! *hugs*
whoops, i didn't PM it after all. haha, now i do look stupid for that reason. :)
Hmmm... I don't know? I would assume if she bought it and wants to install it on your computer it'd be fine? =/ LOL
Thanks hun'... yeah... I'm feeling ok... just tired. I think I'm ready for a nap right about now though... LOL z.z.z.z.z...
Little Miao, as far as I know one purchase of Photoshop only allows for installation on one computer. Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I suggest that since your family is in education, that Photoshop be purchased for the academic discount. It's still pricey, but it helps. Perhaps later, another copy can be bought, also under the academic pricing.

Years ago, when I had a Win PC, I bought PSP through a seller on Ebay. It was an original disc and it was quite inexpensive. Perhaps if you look, you could find a sealed box sold by someone on eBay for the academic price. All you have to do is provide proof of college registration or proof of employment by a college.

Hope this helps.
Awesome. I'm glad you cleared that up. I wasn't sure what the answer was for that one. =/
[this is good]
Thanks, Carol. That's really really helpful, I'll look into the academic discount and eBay. Thanks so much! :)
Yeah I have both, and usually edit my fotos in both. I love the many, many things you can do with PS, but I love the soft focus feature in psp.

Little Miao: I have got ps that can be used on multiple systems...I will pm you in a bit with some "details"

Neato. I just got Photoshop CS2 a month back, and I'm still struggling to get past the most basic of photo editing.

Appreciate your tips on Photoshopping fun - I want to teach myself how to use this essential software, and I'm also hot on the trail for learning video editing. Got any tips on affordable video editing packages that you like?
[this is good]
