Whenever Sofia starts to fuss and I know she's ready for a nap, I have this little routine I do with her. I hold her against me cheek to cheek and I sing to her while I pace back and forth or rock her in place. I sing whatever comes to my head. I love to sing to her "Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston. LOL! She likes it! She just listens to me in a daze and smiles in return sometimes. I wonder if she understands the words? LOL Not very age appropriate but ah well... she digs it! haha [edit] Hubby just heard me playing this song and he's like, "You playing her song?" haha! See? I sing it to her so much it's become just that. Her song. She knows Mommy sings it to her. =) [/edit]

How sweet. Did you know that by letting her "feel" the words along with hearing them, it should be easier for her when she begins to talk.

Hubby has a deaf cousin, and when they were teaching him to talk along with sign language, the instructor would say the words against Blake's cheek so he could also understand how to form the word.

Be careful-Sofia could burst out singing one of these days-LOL
