We went to eat at this place yesterday. It was delicious! Eating in there was like a flashback to the 50's! I felt like I should have put on a poodle skirt or something!

While I was in Waco last month, I tried popcorn with white chocolate. Have you ever tried it? OMG, it's sooooooo delicious! I'd never had it before. But as soon as I tried it, i couldn't stop stuffing my face with it. LOL It's addicting. I've had popcorn sprinkled with sliced/round jalapenos on it but never with chocolate. Never would it have crossed my mind to try it that way. Before I left, I made sure to watch my niece make it. It's soooooo easy you guys. I make it at home every now and then. I made it for New Year's to snack on. And I am making it again tonight to snack while we watch a movie on t.v. Here's my attempt to show you how to make it. It's a synch! If I can do it, YOU can too. If you like chocolate and popcorn try this! You'll feel in heaven! LOL

Ingredients:
*2 bags of Popcorn
*Lots of white chocolate! Not sure how much you're supposed to use but I use 2 boxes of the Baker's Premium White Chocolate Baking Squares *6 individually wrapped 1 oz. squares (they coat my popcorn with white chocolate nicely!)
*A microwavable deep bowl (to melt the chocolate in)
*A LARGE popcorn container
1. Throw the popcorn to pop in the microwave. Obviously one at a time.
2. Pop one bag first. Pour into popcorn container.
3. Open ONE box of white chocolates. Unwrap all and put into microwavable bowl.
4. Put in microwave to melt. (Follow instructions on the box) About 2 minutes.
5. You can stop and stir and restart to make sure chocolate is melting evenly.
6. Once chocolate is completely melted, pour slowly some over popcorn. Stir and repeat until all chocolate has covered all popcorn.
7. Repeat process with the second bag and box of chocolates.
8. Once you're done, put the popcorn in the container into the fridge and let sit for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, take out, stir around a bit and stick back in the fridge. (This helps prevent the popcorn from getting clumped up from all the chocolate). Repeat as many times you want or feel needed.
After about 2 hours, it's ready for you to eat and enjoy!
Let me know if you tried making this. I swear it's sooooooo good. I can't wait to have some tonight.
So... about a week ago, I decided it was time to clean my keyboard. OMG, it was disgusting! I noticed it was more filthy after I got back home from the hospital. I am guessing my little brother was eating a lot by the pc because there was tons of accumulated gunk/food in there. I was GROSSS! OMG. I hadn't cleaned it since we bought it so a lot of it was just acumulated stuff... so I'm not blaming it completely all on him. Everyone in the house took part in it! LOL I got so tired of looking at it though and feeling the keys all greasy and nasty that I just could NOT take it anymore. I took it apart and cleaned it. It took me a LONG time to clean it too! My hubby looked at me like I was INSANE. He was like, "You sure you gonna be able to put it back together?" I'm glad he said that because I thought I could remember where each key went. I decided to take pictures of the keyboard BEFORE I took it apart so I could know where each key went. *smart huh? I know... I'm so bright!* LOL Anyway... after I washed the keys, cleaned the board and stuff, I thought to myself, "Gosh, I really wish I had one of those CLEAR covers for my keyboard." But eh. Can't afford that right now. So guess what I did...???? Don't laugh. Hubby already did. LOL But it works JUST as well! I put that GLAD "Press n Seal" wrap stuff over it. LOL! OMG... yes, I was THAT desperate. But shoot, you know what? I put so much hard work into taking it apart, cleaning it and putting back together that I really don't care. It's staying CLEAN now, DAMNIT! LOL! Sure it sounds and feels a little funny at first... but it just takes a little getting used to. And it works like a charm. Besides, it's nice to know that I don't have all those filthy/food germs in there... BLAH... Or at least, I know it's limited now. Wanna know how germ free your keyboard is? Take this TEST. LOL
ps. I wish I had googled how to clean a mac keyboard before I took on the task myself. There's a blog online that shows you how to do it! I pretty much did the same thing though. Soaked the keys in bleach water too... I think the only thing I didn't do was rinse them in the tub. I did it in the sink. LOL
p.s.s. BTW, when was the last time you cleaned yours? Come on, now! CONFESS!
I thought I'd share some stuff I found online this weekend that I found interesting. Some you might not find them interesting at all for "x" reason but I'm sharing anyway. So be thankful anyway, ok!? bwahahaha. Just kidding! Since I have SO much time right now to be online (and believe me, I'm taking advantage cause once Sofia arrives, I probably won't be able to be online as much ), I have found some really neat stuff online. Here's a list:
1. Learn to make cute CHARMS! These are so freakin' cute! I will have to make the time to make some at some point. Aren't they adorable??? And they seem easy to make in the tutorial!
2. A cute desktop wallpaper! I found it on Deviantart! It's adorable... It's kinda girly though guys... sorry... But check out how it looks on my desktop! Pretty, huh? *giggles*
3. For those of you who use apple computers like myself, here are some cute "round" icons I found on Deviantart.com! I modified a few to my taste. Cayyeeewwwt!
4. Learn to make your own RSS icon! I used this tutorial to make my heart RSS icon on my header in Photoshop. It didn't come out exactly perfect but it works! LOL
5. Create your own personalized WP Custom Login Image on your Login page, using this plugin. I haven't tried it yet but it's on my to-do list. Pretty neato! I'd seen it around but I never actually took the time to "want" to do it. So I will get to it eventually.
6. I confess the new "J'lo" song "Doing it Well" had to grow on me... but now I dig it! I actually found the song online somewhere and downloaded it but DUDE, I think it sounds even more kick butt a'la "Chippettes"! Don't you agree? *giggles*
