What the heck is up with the spam coming into my inbox from Vox? It's getting a bit annoying now... AUGH!

I'm getting spam from THIS IDIOT.

Dec has become my favorite month and holiday of all year. Specially this year with a new addition in the family. Christmas will never be the same. It'll be 100 times better! Christmas was so lame and was no big deal before she got here. Now I can't wait! I thought it was time for a new header so I whipped this one in Photoshop. It sucks but I don't have much time to be all creative. I got a baby to care for... I will be editing it when I can and improving it slightly. I'm taking advantage cause she's sleeping and I'm done with my chores. Yayyy... if anybody likes this header, feel free to snag it. Just leave the credit that's all I ask. Not that it's the shiznits but it's nice to get credit where it's due is all. =)

PS. I'm hoping that one day.. one day VOX will give us the option to upload a background or let us choose our own color by hex & rgb code or something. Our banners would look so much better with matching background!!!

What is it with people you don't even KNOW on Vox sending you posts from their blogs? WTF? Seriously. That crap is annoying!!!! At first I was being really nice about it, sending them a private message and asking them to please take me off their list. I got 2 today from peeps I don't even KNOW. What is Vox doing to control that? I hate to get Spam from voxers I don't even know. AUGH. [Sorry... just had to vent. I have a horrible HEADACHE. Probably from sleep deprivation] LOL But seriously... GRRRRR...

Statcounter

I've had a few people ask how I was able to add a site tracker to my vox blog. Ok... this is the way "I'm" doing it. It doesn't really matter to me how accurate it is as far as hits because there really is no way for that work here on Vox right now since you have to add it on every post for it to work, I think. At least, the one I'm using. I don't know. I just care about keeping track of the IP's that visit my blog. I use the same stat counter I use on my main blog and I recognize a few IP's [stalkers] that I really wish wouldn't show up on my VOX BLOG. But whatever. What can you do? Gotta just filter your posts better right? =/ So in THAT sense, it works for me.

Yesturday my stats showed that 293 people visited my blog. I am not sure how accurate that may be but again, if you don't care about how accurate it really is (like myself), try it. I'm using www.statcounter.com. I've been using that for years on other sites I've had. I just create new account for whatever blog I want to embed the code into. Then I get the html code for the "INVISIBLE COUNTER" from there and I insert it to the end of every post. I don't use the "embed" feature because since it's an invisible counter, all you will see is an empty box. I just add it like normal text and then when I hit "publish", Vox asks, "Your post contains HTML. Would you like us to translate this to markup?" and I click yes. Once your entry is published, your counter is not visible... but it's there and it's keeping track of who reads your blog. You just have to log into the statcounter site to view the stats. I prefer for my stat counter to be invisble than to have a graphic or image visible to everyone. But that's completely up to you. I know they have an option to add visible counters as well...

And that's it! It's really easy. =) Good Luck! If you have anymore questions, I'll try to help you as much as I can. I suck at giving instructions which is why I hardly do it, but I'll try my best. LOL

but... yes, there is a but. I would be 100% happy IF you added some sort of feature like a "color wheel" where we could input our own RGB colors and choose our very own shades to match the beautiful banners we put so much work and effort into making for our blogs. Fonts is really no big deal for me. I can deal with that. But it'd be nice for us to be able to choose our own colors because some of the colors you have as options now don't go with our designs. =/ OR it'd be nice to able to upload and apply our own background. Hosted somewhere else or here. Whatever works for ya!

Another thing I'd like is the ability to add a website traffic tracker! Also, allow us to add some html code to our little ABOUT ME section on the upper right hand corner... where we can add our own links now? That'd be GREAT! Until then... I'm about 90% happy with you! That's about it really! =) Oh, and it'd be awesome if you could somehow add the feature where when you leave a comment on someone elses blog and they reply to your comment, you are somehow notified in your email. That way you can go back and reply if you have to. It'd be nice to have that option as well! We're never happy, I know... sheesh!

I felt honored a week or so ago when my nice neighbor, TechMusicGospel, asked me if I could make a banner for him. It was the first time a guy asked me to make one for him. haha! It took me about a week to finally get it done because I just couldn't get creative... but I finally sat my butt down and played around and came up with this! Darren, I hope you like it! I tried not to make it too girly! *hehe* Enjoy...

I thought I'd give a try at this "sharing" banners stuff. I'm a bit greedy when it comes to making banners for others. LOL They do take time, a lot of effort and creativity so I don't think I'll do this very often... but right now I am in the mood so why not share? This one is a slight customization of the banner I created for my good friend, Mayra. I changed the colors and fonts a little bit. I hope you guys like it. Feel free to use it. I know it's not perfect but all I ask is that you keep the credit I have on there intact and that you give credit. =) Not too much to ask for right? *hehe* This is a banner made for Vox only. I wanted to surprise my good friend, Mayra, today and I created for her HER own personalized Vox Banner. I hope she likes it or ELSE! [Ana cracks her knuckles] HAHA! Just kidding, Mayra! I'm so proud of this one, I actually was tempted to keep it! bwahahahaha... Really! I was... but no... I started it with the idea of making it for her, so this is specially made for her. I can't be an Indian giver! Think she'll like it?! *yawwwwwn* Allright peeps... I'm going to bed... I took forever on this banner! I need to go to bed because I got my doc's appt in the morning... see how the baby is doing! Night peeps!
